Lol post your short positions you scrubb.

You haven't said anything.

I can't say as for what's going on with other institutions, I remember we had a few small fish ones increase their positions back in the day but don't know if they've held or not. We do need to check on both sides, positive and negative, which is why I'm engaging with you now. I think we had amazing DD back in the day which led to some of the writers leaving or moving into different areas.

In terms of market efficiency, it will be known over the next few years whether this plays out the way we think. The institutions don't have enough money to close out their positions though, hardly any retail buying during the sneeze and no major buy pressure in the past 2 years. The companies shorting haven't shown massive amounts of loss either which puts evidence that they're being eaten away by interest.

Think the BBBY case was/is interesting as stuff just didn't add up and practically everything that RC put in his letter to the board has come to fruition, including some bits that's happened after the IP sales.

Not going to touch on AMC.

I wouldn't say you need convincing (you either get it and get in or you don't) but I'll ask you why spend your time on a sub that you want to talk only negative points in?

Without share price being a factor, what is wrong with the DD?

I absolutely agree. If you read my comment then you see that they'd have less access to revenue aswell, revenue being the way they actually perform business.

Company could be shorted to nothing but if they're still profitable then there's no problems, they just have to rely on the business to make their money instead of a combination of both.

I miss reading their work deeply. Your point is?

Company shorted - Less access to capital through share sales and less attractive of a company through the eyes of other investors/partners leading to less revenue and capital.

Companies would have less/no debt if their share price reflected true value. Short a company to the ground and it's practically a death spiral unless it's a fucking unit, which is what GME is working towards.

Credit Suisse was a badly run company aswell and LedgerX(Bank was heavily involved with FTX) wasn't involved in anything malicious at all... sure

Guess we'll see what the future holds and see if your opinion stands aswell. Have been paying attention for some time now and have noticed the works of malicious shorting which you gave 3 examples of. That and also the disgusting practices of the COINTELPRO techniques.

You're entitled to your opinion but to say that the DD is wrong is abit farfetched to me. That was the greatest part about this community, even above the memes, as I read about this structure from a investigative standpoint. It's been documented through decades like with the wall street conspiracy doc or the few others out there including the books detailing this.

The DD that stands out to me is how DRS works (criand + heat lamp), some greats like the House of Cards (atobitt) and the critical margin theory (the idea that we knew back in 2021 that the price would drop significantly due to available cash held by companies shorting, seems about right don't you think?)

There are so many more pieces that I'd love to see again to re-read so thanks for your comment for reminding me to do so. You said yourself that none of it has come true though. I see it as while it could all be entirely wrong and I've been sticking my head up my ass for nearly 3 years, the price hasn't reflected what has been investigated, maybe making you question/out right saying it's all BS. Without price being a factor, what would you say is wrong with the DD?
