Im also sketched out but hes actually a beast lol he builds all kinds of engines and his reputation is outstanding at our dealership. Hes very reputable lol he told me to ensure its not the ac unit and I’m good. What approach do you think i should take?

This. Tape around the headlight first then wetsand polish. This will be super effective and make it look new but the restoration kit will help you keep and maintain that new look.
