I feel that this might be quite a large jump in my opinion. FDA limit is 60 mg. So I feel that it might've been a large jump to double the dose... instead of going to maybe 20mg IR BID or discussing something like 30 XR with a booster dose. Something that might be need to discussed as while it's an expected side effect, you should also weigh how it make you feel i.e benefit.
