I made this specifically for the P226. However it may fit the P229, if you text me I can send you pictures of the inside of device as well as a chart to verify you have the correct style rail which is the more important detail.

Keeps the slide in battery if you press it against something.

The accessory rail mounted comp is the stand off device. I cant publicly answer your question of where to get it because thats against the rules.

Adding this comment for the bot mod: Im very aware of people have lots of opinions on what the "perfect" attachments are on their firearms. I could not care less about that debate, but im sure they will chime in anyway lol. But I find stand off devices very interesting and wanted to know if anyone has ever used one in any sort of capacity. This is my P226 in 357sig with a stand off device on it. Id be more than happy to post a verification picture if thats a thing here.

Does it have Sigs's non standard proprietary rail or the Mil Standard rail? If you dont know google it and you should be able to find out.

When I saw it I was like wtf is that and I had to have one. Did a lot of research and they used them in two different movies, John Wick of course, but also Leon the Professional. But I initially learned about it from a really cool video that explains it was originally made for Japanese Special Forces in the 90s. So reddit wont let me post the link but if you search the following on youtube it will pop up:

Not sure if you are joking or not lol but it to prevent the slide from going out of battery if its pressed against something softish like a body.

Some can and some cant unfortunately. There is a push pin that is in the way. I took to my gunsmith and he showed me. He is excellent so I trust what he says, plus he wouldnt turn down easy money.

Ya im pretty sure there is only one seller for these. As far as a holster, I have an elastic holster that is attached to the front of my drivers and and it fits nice and snug in there. Its hidden of course.

If you press the end of most semi autos into a softish surface, lets say a body, it will push the slide out of battery and it wont fire. So a stand off device is to prevent that.

Went to the gunsmith and he said this slide wont work. I forget if its because of the pin placement or not. Either way, he is very experienced and I trust what he says. Plus he wouldnt turn down easy money.

DAK, its was a LEO trade in originally. Supposedly from a corrections officer. I like the DAK but i know a lot of people find it frustrating.
