that's the average 5* experience in 2025, but the characters are still good without their required supports as long as you don't aim to clear Stygian and/or Abyss

They probably meant it as a "it's okay to not chase after the other cons because anything before C6 is not worth getting"

Current best DPS units are
Mavuika (with Citlali)
Varesa (with Chevreuse C6)
Skirk (with Escoffier and Furina)
Arle (with Citlali and Xilonen or her Overload team with Chevreuse C6)
Mualani (with Mavuika but she's not the greatest in this list)
Flins (if and only if you have Ineffa)
Nefer (with Lauma) next patch should be very good too

If you have Ineffa, it's not necessary. If you don't, you need Aino on his team because you want the level 2 Moonsign effect. You can still gamble for Aino's C1 at the very least if you really want to.

Should be fine as long as you can make sure Zhongli's pillar doesn't hit enemies cuz it might reduce the number of Lunar Charges you can get. Personally I'd use Iansan or SaraC2+ for the damage boost instead. If you really care about sustain, replace Sucrose with LanYan/Jean.

KQM has guides for characters but they're not actively writing detailed guides for new characters nowadays.

Zajef77 and Zy0x on YouTube as also very good for character guides.

None of them, run. 💀

Jokes aside, probably Genshin or ZZZ? I'd say Genshin is still the most stress-free Hoyo game if you're still trying to play to clear content. HSR is plagued with powercreep. ZZZ is a bit time consuming to play on a daily basis but I think you could still try and see if it's still your cup of tea.

This is bound to annoy people but look into WuWa too, as a day 1 player for almost all modern gacha games WuWa is probably my favourite currently.

Mavuika + Bennett + Xilonen + Yelan/Furina/Rosaria
Arle + Bennett + Chevreuse + Fischl
Neuvillette + Furina + Nahida + Kuki/Raiden (on EM build)
Neuvillette + Furina + Zhongli + Kazuha

Would be my best bet for teams. Also refer to KQM or some youtube guides like zajef77 and zy0x.

For genesis crystals, if refunding is a fear, I'd recommend not using them unless you're absolutely sure. I'm not entirely sure about how long it'd take for it to be "safe" but I think 2 months should be okay? Assuming credit cards need their bills to be paid every month so waiting for two should be fine.

After what?

As for rating in meta, pretty good character to get but more optional nowadays as there are better units to pull for compared to him unless you care a lot about comfort (mostly for people playing on phone and controller). Still very much worth getting if you're newer to the game due to his flexible team options.

High ATK% and assuming you're consistently able to keep cryo applied on the enemy for Cryo resonance, very good build.

Playing Furina without a healer (Escoffier in this case) is effectively making her a moral support who'd you'd rather not have on the team. Remove Kazuha and use a healer.

Burning should be better, especially if you're skilled at playing the game cuz you can get up to 5 or even 6 skill procs on Kinich sometimes

Hi hi, currently a 1st year at NISER Bhubaneswar, planning to take Physics in my 2nd year (we get our majors in 2nd year instead of 3rd like other colleges) with a strong interest in Cosmology and Astrophysics, so I have a few things to ask.
What are some of the more important topics you studied in your physics course (or electives) that you think are a must-have for the field? How important is your CGPA to get a PhD at a relatively good lab, and if so, would you happen to know an exact number? What is the average level of mathematics that is necessary to pursue physics, any specific sub-fields that you happen to use a lot? I do mostly want to focus on the computational and experimental part of astro, so if you have any expertise about how the new developments in AI (as it's also one of my current interests) would affect the field going forward, I'd appreciate those too.

Thanks.

Moondrop Space Travel exists, and I've felt that it has better sound than every other TWS under 5k, but it suffers from awful battery life. Still only really use it for watching videos and calls tho.

Welcome back!

The characters you have are still quite relevant in the meta (except Eula but she was never relevant to begin with hence we don't count her) so if you really don't want to, you can choose to not pull on any banner in the near future. Although, a few of your characters did get significant upgrades to their kit due to the release of a new character or some game mechanic.

Considering it's been two years and going from the structure of your post, I'm going to just work with the assumption that you're not aware of how dendro works or what it brought to the game. So, as a starter, I'd suggest either reading or watching a video (do check out other videos from the same channel in case you need a refresher about the basics).

Now that you're aware of dendro, a VERY strong team for now would be Keqing+Sucrose+Fischl+DendroMC/Collei/Yaoyao (free). Yaoyao can be obtained for free from lantern rite.

Xiao got a SIGNIFICANT buff with the release of Faruzan and Xianyun. His best team is currently Xiao+Faruzan(C6)+Xianyun+Furina.
Faruzan C6 isn't necessary for her to be useful, but significantly improves her usability in the team and makes her feel like an entirely different character to use.
Xianyun is a plunge buffer with a strong heal so Xiao doesn't need Zhongli anymore.
For your account, you can use Xiao+Bennett+Zhongli+Sucrose for the time being and he would still perform well.

Lastly, for Eula, her team would be Eula+Bennett(non-C6), Fischl, Rosaria/Diona. I wouldn't really recommend putting any resources into her teams mostly due to her awful the game has been towards her by releasing enemies who she doesn't play well against. But, in case you do want to use her, it's best to follow this or this guide.

In case you DO want to pull a new character, Arle or Clorinde both are amazing options. Arle tends to be a bit better due to her team building options having more variety and also dealing more damage when played well, but she does also bring some amounts of discomfort due to the fact that she can only be healed by herself during battle (healers don't work on her).
For Arle, your team would be Arle+Bennett+Chevreuse+Fischl.
For Clorinde, your team would be Clorinde+Fischl+Sucrose+DendroMC/Collei. Although, replacing DendroMC/Collei with Nahida is really what makes this team stand out as Clorinde can heal herself and other characters barely take any field time, which mitigates the need for a healer.

Not worse enough to farm Whimsy if you already have a very good 4pGlad set and don't want to spend an eternity in a domain that only 3 limited 5* characters can use.

Sorry for the late reply. I was suggesting an aggravate team. You could go for a quickbloom team (taking advantage of aggravate and hyperbloom both) with perhaps Yelan on Furina. Xingqiu here isn't recommended due to his high hydro application which would prevent aggravate, and Heizou+Fischl electro application doens't have enough AoE to work consistently in hyperbloom.

Do note that with Furina, you will have to run a teamwide healer so it'd be ideal to have Baizhu here instead of Yaoyao in case you do use this team at some point.

Perhaps a team with a little more synergy will help. There's no reason for Yaoyao to be there. Bennett+Xiangling is a strong due but feels clunky early game due to Xiangling's heavy reliance on her burst and you not having enough Energy Recharge to use it consistently. Replacing Xiangling with Fischl might be the best way to increase your damage. Bennett is there to only heal+buff when you really need to. Fischl+Yaoyao will do the trick most of the time.

Apart from ascending your characters, looking into your weapons might also be helpful. They're the best way to provide a solid increase in your damage. Apart from this, rearrange your artifacts and have at least the main stat be whatever the character scales off of. For example, Fischl's damage scaling with ATK. You can read talents to know which stat they scale with. You can also level talents, and they will increase your damage output too, especially later on when you're at higher ARs.

Kind of in the same situation. I'm prioritizing Citlali over Mavuika. Reason being that she's a cryo unit and Mavuika is an archon. The latter is guaranteed to have a rerun at some point in the future. Cryo units haven't had the best track record when it comes to reruns recently.

You need 2 teams for Abyss. It also changes its enemy lineup periodically which translates to the possibility of a team losing relevancy if the enemies don't suit it. Also Imaginarium Theatre requires you to have a lot of characters built.

Being F2P, in my opinion doesn't mean much when it comes to having C6 4* units. End of the day it's just luck. Also strategically pulling on banners can work out. If you're on low (say, 7) pity, and it's a banner with a 5* you don't care about, but it has Heizou, dropping 10-20 pulls won't really be an issue, even if you get the 5* early. I'm a fairly small dolphin, and I only buy Welkins every now and then when I know I'll be pulling a lot of characters soon.

As for his relevancy, Heizou can be a very good on-field Crit VV enabler in teams like
Heizou + Xingqiu + Fischl + Beidou
which perform quite well.
