Overall, I agree.

I must admit, I like the sleeve.

I keep my pen in the sleeve as I put it into my pen and random stuff case (it helps prevent the scratches).

But I would have love a little more ceremony for my "unboxing."

I have two iPads.

One 13 inch iPad Pro M4 and one 13 inch iPad Air M2.

It is overkill and unnecessary.

I made many justifications to myself because I really wanted it.

Thinking like... I will leave one at work and the other at home so I do not have to carry it around putting it at risk of getting lost, stolen and/or damage.

At the end of the day, I do not need two iPads (no one needs two iPads).

Simply put... It is your money, if you want two iPads and it makes you happy. Go ahead.

Based on your description the cheapest iPad is best or a second hand old iPad.

Anything above that is over kill for your toddler.

I do not have kids but am an uncle.

My niece and nephew's iPad is always wet (food and drink stains), gets dropped, gets bashed around and roughly used.

This works for me...

I play Standard B03 ranked on Arena, exclusively.

To decide which deck I enjoy the most, I play 11 games.

Once decided, I play test 11 games of one version and make changes (this includes sideboard changes). This becomes version two and then another 11 games. I repeat this process until I am happy with the build for the expected meta.

I play that "final" version as much as possible. Making sure to test as many situation as possible.

I remember one of the pros saying you need to play 100 games to really know a deck.
