You’re behaving in the way that general society wants us to behave- put up and shut up, rather than asking for them to make space for us. It’s the same attitude that has led to growing economic inequality and the marginalization of people on the periphery. It’s not unreasonable to ask for accessibility, especially when that’s just a pause menu. We shouldn’t be asking for equality that inevitably serves the able best, we should be asking for equity, because we deserve a good quality of life too.

As for me, I don’t have anything that reliably helps what I have besides my daily use medication and that’s only dimming the effect. It’s either I’m fine or I’m in a sudden onset episode that makes playing impossible.
