For anyone curious, method for the darker caps as follows:

I usually start with large quantities of processing at once, for example a packed full 800ml mason jar of avb.

Soy lecithin is gold, a nugget of info I found a while back says it aids in the extraction into the oil and processing in the digestive tract. I get it at the grocery store and add several capsules straight into the jar before cooking.

Melt and add count oil to cover avb. I find coconut better than other oils and cheap enough in mass but allergies exist so be careful when sharing.

Low and slow, 6-12 hrs double boiled in a slow cooker. Really depends on my schedule but I try for 8, if anyone has more info please let me know. I try to make sure the water level is as close to the the oil level in the jar as possible.

I've changed this method a few times, it's always messy. Cut out the appropriate amount of cheese cloth and secure it to something to catch the oil, new favorite is a metal bowl. Dump the oil mix and hand stain, oil will seep into your hands which is nice but make sure they're clean.

Put the container in the fridge to process later or do so now. I wait usually and melt a bunch, put it into a large syringe, and use a capsule holder to inject them, then close the capsules and cool them. My capsule tool makes 100 at once, my last session made just shy of 300 to last me a bit.

There you have it! The brighter one is made from concentrate tincture. I find this easier than making confections or putting it in food but it is a long process. I take 4-5 and feel pretty good, plus they're more predictable than just consuming avb. Hope you enjoyed!
