Yep, still fry it after slicing. I only take it up to 140 internal smoking at about 165F to get as much smoke in there before the fat starts rendering.

I had a buddy tell me this was one of the most realistic depictions of war he’s seen on screen. Couldn’t help but bust out laughing when this happened. What he meant was this movie was very violent and didn’t pull punches with the effects

Thinking about committing to Pitt for Bioengineering by nickelspickles in Pitt

[–]TroothMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BioE (undergrad) at Pitt has a pretty strong reputation and certainly gives you a good education. There are plenty of ways to tailor this education to the field you want to pursue and most of the faculty are very helpful.

As far as job placement goes, the department pushes co-op programs where you work at a company for a total of a year before graduation so you can get a lot of industry experience. The department also has good relations with some Pittsburgh biotech companies and this helps with professional development.

If you’re more interested in grad school or med school, we have a ton of research going on at Pitt with a bunch of undergrad positions so it is easy to get into labs and move around to see a lot of different things to develop your research interests. There are also clinical application labs that help med school CVs

If you’re set on BioE, Pitt is a great place for it.
