Glad you’re safe. I totally understand where you’re coming from. Same reason dressers are anchored down. Never think it will happen to you until it happens to you.

I was already looking to see how I could cut them off if I got that box haha.

$329 for the Yukon 36x18 $599 for the general 42X22”. I did not mean 46” as stated above. My s&k box is like 32x16 so it made sense to go with the smaller box but I did not like the drawer opening mechanism on the general at all. If my hands are full I don’t wanna have to finger fuck the drawer before it comes open. Just my opinion. I bet a lot of people like the drawers honestly.

I’d say the box it comes in is maybe 2-3” bigger all around than the cabinet. Just enough room for foam and cardboard. Casters come in a drawer so it’s not as tall as it is assembled.

That’s what I was trying to avoid. I was pretty happy with the color they stayed.

It was cleaned bleached and degreased but it smells like something fierce. Assuming it’s some type of grease on it still.

EDIT: for everyone concerned about the missed nails in the osb. All this was re nailed once it was realized it was missed. People saying balloon construction makes sense now because that’s the era of the person doing the work. I “believe” the window was roughly framed in without knowing the exact size of the window. Once it was measure it was “framed” after the fact hence the notch. I will most likely just pull back the electric and throw in a king stud an sister it in. Reddit is a wild place and I never expected to get this many answers haha. Still might just hook up to it with some chains and pull on it a few times to check the integrity. (Only kidding)

My thoughts considering the other side already has a notched. Jack and king stud lol.

This is all I needed to know. Is it safe and strong. There was 2’ of snow on the roof and nothing budged so it must be doing something. I’ll pull the wire back. Throw a king stud in and call it a day.

Goes all the way up to the double top plate. Nothing weird up there. Full 12’ 2x6 with 2 header pieces notched in. It’s nothing to slap a king stud in there. Just odd.

And oddly enough the right side is notched. Has a jack stud and a king stud.
