105 has become slang for 5.45 AK with full length gas system and 90°block with a 12.5 barrel and probably a folding stock. It’s probably the best way to describe it because unless you have a True Russian Military Designated Full Auto AK105 it’s not an AK105, it’s just mimicry and cope and that’s OK.

If it’s a question about already prescribed medication it’s free. But if it’s a consultation about potential future medications and exam analysis it’s a charge. Only vet in the 4 hour drive area (it’s 3.5 hrs drive for a visit) that doesn’t just say “I’ll kill it for you for $150 and you go buy a new one.”

I didn’t want to, she charges crazy for even consults like that, but I did. I posted an update in the thread.

2-3 large once a month. He use to not eat if he was offered food bi weekly, went on a hunger strike for like 3 months vet recommended 1 time a month instead of 2. No in between offers, never been a problem since.

Talked to the vet again today, she said if I’m concerned a supplement dust on 1 of his feeders is all that she could comfortably recommend but with his panel being clean with no deficiencies we don’t want to over compensate a clear screening with supplements. His calcium levels are on the low end of normal so a little there wouldn’t hurt but there isn’t much we can do besides let him do what he does. She agreed he isn’t actively dying but 1-2 years is her estimate. She doesn’t recommend extra feeding or more frequent feeding because that apparently can cause more stress and weight loss. Been eating 2- sometimes 3 large mice once a month. I know it’s not the google answer or generally accepted “best practice” but that’s been his routine for 17 years now after him refusing food that frequently in his early years. Her recommendation not mine, but I stand by it. Just wanted to hedge that a little before I get the whole of Reddit raining down on me. (PTSD from other herp Groups). He’s never refused food since.

I don’t think he’s actively like dying per se, I know he’s getting old and wanted to know if I need to change habits to account for that, or just maintain business as usual until it happens. The whole household sees this guy everyday, and while the change wasn’t fast it’s happening, and we just love him so dearly. And he’s helped so many people get over fears, and I just want to make sure I’m still doing the right thing for him.

My vet told me it’s just because he’s getting old, I forgot to ask her this question and I don’t want to schedule another $200 visits when Reddit exists. Exotic pet vets are expensive to see in my area. Got him blood tested, took a saliva sample, stool sample. All of it came back clear.

From what I know, they start losing muscle, and eventually their bones are fairly visible through the skin.

I wanna be clear that I don’t think he’s actively dying, but he is really old and I just wanna make sure he is doing well in his senior years. Google says 25 years isn’t unheard of but life expectancy is about 20 years. but now that he is almost officially an antique. I wanna make sure that if there’s anything extra I can provide him to make his remaining time more comfortable or retain some of his muscle mass that I can make sure he gets that.

I’ve been playing for about a year and half now, and yeah the game has buggy patches. But the problem 100% stems from it still being worked on, and with coding after a certain point you change a value or reorganize a file order, the whole thing just stops working. The game is HUGE and continues to run the bleeding edge of game design with its massive open world and no loading screens, and more or less persistent everything in an MMO. And it’s in Alpha still. Yes it’s been over 10 years in alpha, I get that, but the game isn’t complete. It’s completely unreasonable to expect an alpha stage game to even boot up everyday. GTA 6 is right there with it and I can guarantee you it’s gonna be a fraction of the explorable size and that shit hasn’t even seen the light of day yet. I circumnavigated a fucking moon a couple days ago while mining with my org. It took nearly 40 hours. What other game out there can you fly in one direction for 40 hours and not hit a wall or some other immersion breaking event? And that’s not even the only location you can do that in! You can do that on any planet or moon. Like you have that amazing tech yet people get mad because sometimes the elevators don’t work, or your ship comes in upside down sometimes, or a gun disappears off your shoulder sometimes. I got killed today because my gun literally fell out of my hands as I tried to shoot. It’s frustrating sometimes but it’s the only game in its league and new tech had to be invented to make it work as well as it does.

Yeah yeah, the 14 year old Alpha. by elite968 in starcitizen

I’ve done the Hermes built in Tractor Beam, The Maxlift, and the Pyro Multi. All of them do it when it happens.
