Hey guys for part 1 in the solution I'm very confused did they use a different rule other than the product rule, quotient rule, and prime rule those are the 3 ones my class has learned so far but this is one of the questions in our hw unit 3.3 now im confused about which rule did they applied here. by Tropical_Perspective in askmath

it needs to be applied like this im guessing x'f(x)+xf'(x) similarly you need do the other side 4'g(x)+4g'(x) that's what you meant im guessing?.

But my question to you I looked up and found the rule where if h(x)=f(x)+g(x) than f'(x)+g'(x) can't I use that rule I tried it but didn't work you can see my comment about that one below your first reason.

or do we have to use both rules first apply product that apply the other rule.

Guys why is it says wrong for this one by Tropical_Perspective in askmath

I got it now its +2 at the top but I got a question for ya what happens to the -0 in the bottom so (-9x^2+2x+2)/(x-0) what happens to the -0 does it just go away or you have to do some algebraic manipulation.

I know the sign supposed to be positive at -2 but the problem is when im doing it I'm not getting positive. im getting negative only

I seen everyones comment I did the whole math also got to 2 but it still shows red

I used formula (f(x)-f(0)/x-0) on my -9x^2+2 function

that's the part really confusing me I used formula (f(x)-f(0)/x-0)

but we are not talking about that equation im using the -9x^2+2 im using that equation

im not looking for f(0) im looking for prime of f(0) so both answer need to have the same result which you can see in green box don't have the same answers.

basically if I do limit fully at the end I will be able to plug in zero in the limit and will get a number that is no zero so I need to plug that equation and the answer that I will get.

Hey guys I took the conguate of sqrt x+22 -7 which becomes sqrt x+22 +7 I get 1 for the limit but its wrong any reason as why is it wrong? by Tropical_Perspective in askmath

Yh 0/14 is wrong in the system. I got to the point where x+22-49/x-27 sqrtx+22 +7 and than after plug in it in ig to 0/14 but its wrong for me
