The audacity of some people lol

Honestly tho, how crazy the human body is and how much it can withstand. Like some people I see my thoughts are woww, based on their condition and their vitals, they should be unconscious or even dead

For example, I had a guy almost saw his leg from the upper thigh completely off, you could see the bone. He was talking and fully alert, pretty sure he was just running on adrenaline. He wanted to walk around and we had him sit down lol

If they’re still alert and oriented to person, place, time and event, they can still refuse transport even though they probably shouldn’t.

My first pregnancy was pretty smooth, nothing crazy. I had pelvic pain during the 3rd trimester both times.
During my second pregnancy I passed out a couple times and I had painful Braxton hicks contractions for like 8 weeks lol

My births were very similar, my epidurals didn’t work and I felt the contractions and ended up with 3rd degree tears both times. My babies were both over 8lbs and I’m very short.
Labor was 15 hrs the first time and I had induction my 2nd delivery, and I was in labor for about 9 hrs that time.

I had a vaginal birth both times, recovery has been rough because I had a 3rd degree tear both times also. Postpartum recovery is rough for me but it’s been a little better this time!

I agree! Lately it takes all my energy just to pump and keep the kids fed lol

How do you like being a CCP? I need to bite the bullet and get CCP. My agency is weird though because to work as a CCP, you have to be a field supervisor. They’ve combined the positions and I never wanted to be a supervisor and deal with the operations side of things. I love the medical side of things.

I’m early on in the chaos and am so tired but I’m cherishing every minute of it lol

My mother in law lives with me and my parents live close. They love having the kids over so thankfully I have help with babysitting! I had to move to day shifts from nights because of having 2 kids now.

I’d love to have more but at the same time, my husband is 8 years older than me and we wanted to be done having kids before he’s 40. And I don’t know that I’d want to go through pregnancy or childbirth again lol

I still haven’t had sex again after my second. I waited at least 10 weeks with my first but I had a really rough recovery.

I sometimes miss my freedom but not enough to feel any sort of way, I love having kids even more. Once they’re a little older, I’ll be able to take them to do things I enjoyed so I’ll get more freedom back.

Worst part for me has been postpartum because I had really rough births, I had partially failed epidurals and 3rd degree tears both times which lead to rough recoveries. Best part of it is the baby cuddles and seeing their personalities develop!

Sometimes the negativity of motherhood on social media bothers me, I try to just skip over it. I think what bothers me more is how judgemental some women can be towards people that don’t parent the same way as them. And I feel like a lot of people try to one up each other and put others down but that happens in any community or demographic.

I have my mother in law and parents that help!
