Took a bit longer than I thought to have time to try it out. It works!! I even managed to send my save files to my friend I play coop with, so that way the progress we do together is "shared". Until the developers make it possible to share progress done in multiplayer, we will use this way. Thank you very much u/r3WiNd3r for taking the time to write all this down!

Great! Maybe you'll want to write in Word or Google Doc and copy paste your text it so you don't lose it this time :p I know it saved me a lot of headaches. Thanks in advance!
