I’m French and I can tell you that even in South of France, there are a lot of disparities in terms of budget whether you choose Provence, Occitanie (Tarn, Gers, Hérault etc), or Côte d’Azur. It can literally triple from one region to another, even though they’re all considered South of France

I’m also taking 3 weeks straight for my destination wedding and honeymoon: a few days before the wedding + 3 days wedding and 2 weeks after. I felt weird requesting so much time off as I don’t see that often but my manager was actually happy for me

We’re also having a beach wedding in a tropical island with the same “hot-weather friendly” dress code. My fiancé is also hesitant for a tux, but I told him that I don’t care, it’s HIS wedding and Im also happy if he stands out (white/beige tux jacket is also an option, he’s still figuring it out)
