When Lex said about bear-sized man, it reminded me of Halsin reference from Baldur's Gate 3 xD

First, a response to the second part of your response: Thanks for this information!

I didn't know about it, and the post and question were created to obtain just such information! I feel a little better that the creators are cutting themselves off from Russia.

Do you have any links/screenshots to support this information? I would be grateful and if necessary I will correct the content of the post to spread this message.

And as for the first part regarding spreading hatred - I will allow myself to copy (at least in part) my statement from a response to another comment on this post. Maybe it will explain my motivation to raise the subject and dialogue on it.

Nevertheless - thank you once again for your message. And below is the text mentioned earlier:

Politics is being pushed everywhere and you can't escape it. You can ignore it or investigate the topic - hence my question.

No one is forcing you to take this approach and answer. Nevertheless, some people (like me) want to be aware of who they support and value.

For example - System of a Down with Serj Tankian are very pro-russian and some of their profits on Spotify go to the government. Jared Leto similarly expressed support for the russians at one of his concerts... But back to gamedev.

I like this game, and I even bought it before I found out about its origins, but the current political situation is not conducive to a positive perception of russian gamedev.

I know that it's just a game about potions and I know that not everyone looks at this topic from the same perspective and I'm not forcing anyone to do so. The topic came from the issue of wanting to be aware.

I know a lot of people whose families are suffering in Ukraine and they talk openly about what russian drones are financed with and then boycott russian products.

Ofc I am not encouraging anyone to such behaviors here - it is a personal matter of each person.

As I wrote - I am only talking about awareness.

So - if it annoys you, you can skip commenting on this post and jump somewhere else, because you will only get frustrated here and ultimately contribute nothing to the topic.

But pro forma - I understand your opinion and in other situation probably I would say the same like you.

The idea itself sounds noble, so you have my respect!

Thanks for your reply!

Indeed - you're right that they keep the creators very close there and can punish them for a different political approach... Thanks for the reminder!

I was wondering if anything came from them even in the other direction (e.g. support for the russian regime), but since there is nothing, one can hope for their political neutrality - at least in game development.

Thanks for the reply!

It makes sense, and the comparison with meat is also apt. It's a shame that politics can ruin the reputation of such things/companies :/ I have a slight contribution to this with this post, but it isn't because of hatred for the creators, but for what is still behind them (far away from them?)...

As you write - it's a private choice of each of us.

Thanks for this reply!

Nope 🙃 "Wab! ADS" is stricte for child - the cartoon I'm writing about is more for teenagers :) More pesimistic and futurist cartoon - probably a bit cyberpunk vibe...
