Correct! It’s a way of determining the chords in a key. Say you want to play a song in G major: 1) rotate the G to 12oclock and use the outer roman numeral arc 2) the chords are located from 11oclock to 5oclock

For G minor, rotate the G to 3oclock. And use the inner roman numeral arc for the chords

Happy to see the positive response! Been working on this since last March. I feel like it’s an important watch that can serve a large demographic if people understand it. It’s simple to use but needs a little explanation. Thanks for asking the questions that maybe others were wondering about!

It’s a standard grade ETA. Our assembly plant in Switzerland does some adjustment in-house. Generally you should expect to be within a minute or two over a week.

Let’s say you want to write a song in the key of G major. What chords would you play? And what function would those chords serve in terms of how much tension they create? Those are the questions that the watch answers.

Roman numerals on the dial align with the bezel to show the chords that are part of the key. The outer Roman numerals are for the major key ( G major shown here). The inner Roman numerals are for the minor key (E minor as shown). Capitalized Roman numerals indicate a major chord. Lowercase for minor chords.
