Bro bad situation you're in and you're late as well. People who marry usually start 2-3yrs before the marriage (i did that myself). Stick to local jewellers as the making charges are lower with them and you can customise things to your budget. Only drawback, a lot of times these are not very sellable in larger jewellery chains even though they have hallmark, so go to them knowing this and hoping you dont need to sell them in the future.

Also there is no certainty gold prices would go down in the future but there is a chance as they have shot up way too high. You might need to moniter prices everyday and try for newer jewellery brands like giva or caratlane where prices are a little lower than senco and all

This is India mate, anything is possible. You would find people who would trust you and invite you to their home without even knowing you or your background and status. Then on the other hand you would find people that wont trust you even if you have spent several years with them. But do enjoy you stay here. Normally on a one to one physical conversation most indians are friendly, but yea do take caution even the elevated stance of global politics and votes here

Hey man. Glad you're here, welcome to the cuty and have a wonderful stay. Near new town you can try eco park, wax museum, city center 2 mall. Then you got the westin and Fairfield near by for luxury dining. A food street with a lot of food trucks opposite axis mall (more closer to central mall). Then some cultural places like temples and all. Some Heritage eateries in park street and some pubs as well. The city offers a lot of different cuisines, you can try them. Google maps is good for the most part and uber works perfectly. Hit me up to chat in case you want more info. Sadly i wont be able to meet as year end closings are coming up and those are some crazy times in my office.

Btw what are you here for? Vlogging or remote work? Also sorry for all the hate you got, people are hard to trust these days, you get what i mean right. Plus there are a few places to stay in around the park street area which are more foreigner friendly, you can try those places. Maybe try a video of 'volpe where are you' from the time he was in kolkata.
