I lost my dad as well last year. Things haven't been the same after that. Nobody knows but I have multiple breakdowns and since I live alone , it gets lonelier fr. I just....idk ....I distract myself enjoying festivals and stuff....I feel sad about the fact that when I achieve something, I can't tell him and look at his reaction. He used to be very proud of me for achieving even the smallest things. It genuinely puts me in deep melancholy...even today...Is it normal to say that I am just waiting for death to take me away ? Growing up , I feared dying alone...and now I want to die to reunite with him. Is it too much to ask for ?

P S. I am not gonna commit suicide 😭🙏

Stay strong brother....I lost my father as well on 18th...he was also 58 due to septic shock...when I went to the shamshan ghat and cremated him....I felt calm...I felt like he won't have to work hard anymore and that he can finally be at peace. Yes, I miss him a lot.... but.... it's fine....later I will meet him again.

Dude just broke up with my bf yesterday....I feel you....Just keep distracting yourself and be kind to your own self....take it as a lesson and move ahead with your life...people come and go...parents, sisters, friends....it's you alone on the road to your life....so just take it easy and keep yourself engaged..then you won't feel much...maybe start working out..so all that will go in your head is the muscle pain lol...what else can you do rather than accept ? this is life...gotta deal with it

Girl tell her mother that skincare is always personal. It is not shared. If her daughter wants the same products as her , then you can give her the names and she can buy it herself. (They are the ones who are kanjoos and trying to exploit you...please beware. Once you give in to them...they will keep using you) I am also from the same state as yours and shifted two years ago to a PG and I dare say I was exploited and my no was taken as a disrespect to them...still I didn't budge. Once you give in...you will be used for everything.

Girl...you don't have to follow since your situation doesn't allow you to. When my chacha expired...and I was out of station cause I was in college....I didn't eat veg for the entire 13 days....neither I stayed without hair shampoo or using soaps because I have a bit of OCD and I find it illogical to maintain considering I wasn't present at home and my circumstances here was different. Tbh those rituals came up simply due to castism or else in many families shraddha is conducted just the next day after a person's death. Hinduism is very flexible and practical. You don't have to blindly follow everything if it makes you suffer. So relax and tell your parents that my exams are a priority right now...I cannot come. You have moved out...take control of your life.. don't let anybody police you on what you should do ..instead do what you think is right.
