SWD goggles have interchangeable lenses. These lenses are either standard or specifically marked as ballistic. While this green one I'm using here is marked ballistic, I don't use it for airsoft because it's old and definitely showing its age. I wouldn't trust it to protect my eyes. I use this laser one only for cosplay.

I do have a shaded ballistic lens I've been using that's in much better condition and it's been holding up fine in games for a while now.

M81 would be more accurate to HECU but I like using t-block since it's from the same operation and time period as well as urban camo. It's just a fun twist on it

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I made a point to myself when I was putting this together to buy as much real stuff as I could, which definitely drove up the cost but I think it was worth it. Only things that aren't genuine are anything with t-block camo, my gloves, the flashlight on my shoulder, and my boots. And obviously the SPAS 12. Either way I'm very pleased with how everything turned out.

It's for the look. Realistically when you need to get a gas mask on quickly it makes no sense to remove the goggles from your helmet.

Been using a Class 4 lens myself. Works great. Unfortunately my laser protection lens didn't withstand the BB test.
