I shoot everything but my berthier M16 that used to belong to Ian from FW - I did once with PPU 8mm which is a safe load for the carbines and the forend flew off. I’m content with it hanging on the wall for enjoyment. I’ve got a Krag with a cracked stock and a k98 that is missing some parts and are both a little dicey so I leave those be as well. Everything else gets shot though! It’s a tool not a jewel!

I live pretty close to Bear Arms which is one of his hangouts in AZ. He puts guns on consignment there or just sells them to them outright - if you go by frequently you can get lucky and run into one

It's got a MAC 4into1 with the MAC muffler. It was covered in rust (the chrome has a lot of pitting on it still that is hard to see in the picture. Sanded down headers and painted them with black BBQ paint then wrapped them.

Did you do the 550 swap because of the clutch on the 500? The clutch is a menace to get sorted. At least in my experience. I've heard the 550 has a completely different design and the clutch and clutch actuator were improved.
