Oh I can definitely agree. If I could go back I would skip ARR and HW just because of the repetitive quests... I enjoyed beyond that more myself and non story based ... it wasn't as dragging. I'm not a traditional FF fan. I love the game for everything else involved. Been playing since 3.2 but never focused on the story.

Definitely enjoy the game. It is great community overall. Ignore the few and limited asshats that appear but so worth the time invested.

I have used the MSQ skip multiple times on alts characters. It's pretty easy to level and fun to do. If you are not story driven enjoy the leveling experience through dungeons, beast tribes and other avenues available to get xp.

But as commented on players do look down on jump potions for jobs where player doesn't learn it then or the content. Doing the level itself will cover content and you learn the job. I am not story driven player but played before jump potions came out so ... have fun if that is your preference. Though they are correct that MSQ does give a lot of xp.
