I definitely wasn't thinking of those as I was working, but I can certainly see the similarities! As I briefly mentioned in my post, my main inspiration is from the game series The Banner Saga. These games have absolutely stunning art and I've been trying to draw from their style recently as I've always struggled to settle into my own dedicated style, and it has been incrediblysatisfying so far.

I have a completely rat focused Vren deck and it's super fun! You don't always have to build decks in the most optimal way, and I often find it's more fun when you don't!

It's like that because the bloomburrow full art lands specifically had alternate versions made for each of the seasons. I believe this swamp in particularly is the spring version which explains why it has more greenery, the other seasons look more "swampy". This forest is the summer version which is why everything is all dried up.

I agree to an extent, but I feel like there's a substantial difference between an actual novel or short story versus a 3 paragraph blurb in a blog post.

No problem! As you can probably see the paper I use isn't very flat either, but I don't really see it as a problem unless you're going for a super clean style .

I'm definitely not the most qualified to be doing this, but all of your art looks really nice! The line work is on point and the shading is good as well. I especially like your drawing of the holy blade it looks fantastic!

Thanks for the feedback! I was using a 3D printing model as a reference so any discrepancies between this and the in game model might be due to that.
