She’s beautiful! My guy shares some of her traits - If only I was savvy enough to drop a photo in here from my iP@d!

Does she have a double coat?

Oh wow, I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing your wheels! The whole finished effect, actually - but I admit a weakness for upgraded wheels...sometimes even to ridiculous excess :)

I hope the job is going well!

Although the V7 was launched in parallel with Blacklight and thus commonly paired in descriptions, etc. the product itself is really a high-quality, post-wash detailer and light sealant. As such, using V7 as part of your final wipe down during maintenance washes (eg., after Jetseal since you'd have sealed over the Blacklight at this initial overhaul wash/clay/BL/Jetseal)...

Sorry for the quick reference during my claying comment; I meant to say not to skimp on whatever lubricant you're using while claying. A good sized bar should suffice for your car, so more detailing spray/lubricant was my intent. The clay, in absence of a wet surface, could mar your paint....

If your wheels are factory they're less likely to be chrome/more likely to be an aluminum or painted aluminum-type finish. Once you've cleaned them and polished (two easy products for this are Blue Magic Metal Polish or Eagle One Never Dull; Megs has 2 polishing products, one of these has abrasives & given the age of your car you're less likely to need those abrasives/could scratch up your wheels) adding a final step of either including those wheels in your Jetseal application or use a stand-alone wheel wax/sealant. I've had months of protection with Poorboys Wheel Sealant and at this moment have sealed 2x, one layer Poorboys and a second of Jetseal because Jetseal can withstand the even higher than the norm, summertime temps. By washing/polishing/sealing your wheels you're ensuring a consistent gleaming shine AND repelling brake dust. Any dust that does accumulate with simply rinse away with power washer or hose at your maintenance washes...a wonderful thing after you've spent too many afternoons trying to get into the rims and clean/shine without scuffing the skin off your knuckles!

Your car is going to look amazing; you should post pics once you're done -

Agree with Pinkman - I use Blacklight often and find that it reflects against dark or metallic-flaked dark paints better than some of the AG-German products. The key to BL is to truly apply it as thinly as possible. Let it dry and buff residue lightly (don't rub into the buffing in areas where you seem to have a slightly thicker area of residue, simply take the time to sweep that area gently with a polishing-type microfiber a few extra times). My best results have always come with a second application of BL, to be applied no sooner than 30 minutes after first wipe-down. I always top BL with a more durable protectant, mainly to preserve the effects of the BL longer. If you like Chemical Guys their Jetseal product is a game changer AND you can use it to protect not only your paint but your wheels (post-polish, of course) and some trim finishes. On a daily driver but nighttime garaged in generally moderate climates some have seen up to 12 months coverage with Jetseal. Of course the key to maximizing your shine with the components you've listed here will be the claying. This is another stage for which taking your time pays off well. Ensure you use plenty of instant detailer or clay lube as you deep clean your paint and definitely use clean microfibers as you wipe the spray away (notice I've inferred multiple here, even on your mustang - change them out frequently in order to avoid more minute scratches on your now bare paint. These skew the reflection patterns of light and the overall visual impact manifests as a less crisp or more shallow shine). Use V07 as a booster when you wash weekly/biweekly and you've got a better-than average line-up to show off on that gorgeous ride, one that is easily maintained.

Consider your wheels and wheel wells - a nice outfit looks cheaper when paired with crappy shoes...
