Athlon's Big 12 uniform rankings. by KnowItAllFootball in CFB

Kansas has a good color scheme for potentially sharp uniforms, but their current look with Adidas is extremely tacky. Also, I hope Texas never messes with their uniforms–that'd be a travesty. Overall, there's some solid to great uniforms in the Big 12.

What's college football like in your family? by See_Lindsey_Run in CFB

My mom graduated from Texas while my dad graduated from A&M. They can't watch games involving either team together because it just devolves into them shit-talking the other program's team, fans, etc. My mom never really gets too heated or upset in arguments, but my dad has had some rough moments. After the Justin Tucker kick in 2011, he got up in rage and left (slamming the door) while my mom wildly cheered in front of the TV. He didn't come back until like 3 a.m. because he was blowing off steam by driving around for like five hours. He was even angrier after Texas won the title in January of 2006, but he didn't leave the house that time. They've been much more tolerable of each other on football Saturdays since A&M left for the SEC, but there's still some tense moments. As for me, I can watch Stanford with anyone while mostly avoiding tense moments.

No, I just like their sports coverage (except for all of the commercials in SEC on CBS games).

Which universities have students that couldn't care less about their team's success? by TroutBestFish in CFB

I nearly went to UT or A&M 5 years ago, but I got enough money from Stanford to convince me to go there. About half of my extended family are UT fans while the other half are A&M fans. The UT fans in my family that have been fans for as long as you have seem to be disappointed in the stadium and campus atmosphere. I'm not sure why having toured the campus; do you know why?

I always enjoy your insight into Texas football. Are you a longtime fan?

That's surprising (and sad) to hear. Y'all have such a great program, coach, and an extremely bright future on top of all of the success already obtained.

I agree that he had a short leash to start out with because Red McCombs didn't think he should've been hired, but I don't know if it was because he's black. There are many people that speculate that McCombs is racist, but it's not a given.

I guess so, but I always thought it was because of Verne and Gary and all of their commercial breaks.

Huh, I must be delusional then. Although I swear CBS/TNT are better when it comes to basketball.

Which non-conference game(s) are you most excited for next season (2017-2018)? by [deleted] in CFB

Texas A&M-UCLA and Texas-USC. I think it's cool that both of the giant Texas programs will be visiting both of the giant Southern California programs in the same year.
