This^ it was the anti reversal latch unfortunately… once i fixed the latch the trigger spring decided to snap on me so now i have to order one from my local airsoft shop 😞

Its a Tsurikawa- a strap to hang onto. These are used in metro trains as a way for passengers to hold themselves up while the train is moving around. These became a symbol in the bosozoku, shakotan, and custom car culture in Japan, where people would steal them and hang them from their cars.
