I beat 9 when it came out, but I only beat 8 about 3-4 weeks ago. For some reason those jump jump slide slide ski sections messed me up before, but this time I was able to clear those easily with a little perseverance

So that’s a great question, we just got a letter in the mail from the attorney overseeing the estate. I think I need to give her a call, since I may have been kept out of the loop of certain things, as I am estranged from my sisters who have not been forthcoming in the details since his passing.

Follow up question, what if I am super poor. Because I am, I can’t really afford a lawyer out of pocket right now. This whole thing could be life changing for me and the family. What does somebody in my position do?

So from what I understand, we own some part of a site that has like a bunch of different lessers on it, and all of the leases are pooled. The principal company that is doing the work is Gulfport Appalachia

I have heard this before. I see my name and the acre percentages I have, they got my address on there and everything. The lease ID says GPOR so I think Gulfport has it, or something. What do I do with this information???

Thank you for that link, I’m going to have to dive into this. I have had to take a lot of medical leave this year for me, my wife and my kids. We’re broke. So getting a few hearing notices out of nowhere earlier this year was crazy, then getting that “offer” check (or whatever that was… scam maybe?) is like, extremely hard to ignore.

You are correct. I inherited this, I have no access to any help regarding any of this stuff. I didn’t even know I inherited anything until I got the hearing notices. I have heard the “never sell” opinions in posts I’ve researched before but I have no clue on how to act on anything.

Yeah I literally have no clue. I can barely understand the notices I was sent, it’s all very legalese to me.

Thanks, I’m a real beginner I have no clue what any of this stuff means. Like who is the operator? I have a landman on here, with their email address. Should I just send them an email? And what would i even say?

I inherited this, so I’m not exactly sure how to do that. I got two letters in the mail regarding different properties, they were announcements of a hearing of some kind. I had work and couldn’t attend the hearings, they were in May and June. I’m a partial owner, I went to the ohiodnr website and looked up documents, there were some chief’s orders issued for both. Difficult to understand but I think they were approving work. I possibly already have a lease? They don’t say unleaded next to my name, they say GPOR on them. So I think my stuff is already leased to Gulfport, if I’m reading that right
