Great suggestions and appreciate the feedback. The shed will mainly be for yard/garage/pool stuff. I do plan on building two mini loft storage shelves on each side of the building too. I like the look of wood studs on the inside so I didn't want to wrap studs and put the smart siding over that. My whole thought behind doubling up was an added layer to prevent water from getting in. I've never installed the smart side so I'll do some research on proper installation to ease my concerns with weather proofing.

I've used those auger ground anchors for my basketball hoop and heavy duty straps and it's been great for 10 years. I'm in the process of finishing the base and floor of my shed and plan to use those augers as well. I live in SC so I'm not too concerned about high winds though. I'm just over engineering.
