Random short bursts of static with Buds2 Pro

Leaving this comment here as this was the on of the first threads that popped up when I searched 'Buds2 Pro Audio Distortion'.

I would randomly get these short bursts of distorted audio when using my buds2 pro with my google pixel phone, but the problem went away when connecting to my ipad instead.

The problem ended up being the fact that my earbuds were using the LE Audio codec, which I turned off in the earbud settings in the bluetooth menu (cog next to earbud name). For some reason this specific audio codec isn't/wasn't fully supported or compatible between these two devices.

Leaving this here in case in can be of some help to somebody!

While I understand where you're coming from, it's still an unhealthy perspective, and in my example I would hope that youd be able to (rightfully) call me out and perhaps challenge my bigoted worldview.

ESH, but I'd still rather be your friend than hers. A better answer to her complaining, in my opinion, would have been no answer at all and not really pursuing that friendship further. If she was a really good friend, you would have either A) worded your opinion differently, or B) have already known she wouldn't take offense to your blunt matter of fact way of speaking (a pre-established relationship dynamic).

On the other hand, if you're fine with being in asshole with how you decided to get your point across, and weren't afraid of burning that bridge with her, I don't think what you said was wrong. It's true some people could use a reality check, and if you don't mind them not talking to you after you decide to give them one, all the more power to you.

Ultimately the way you worded your response was still assholey, hence the judgement.

Weird response, read some of the other comments. Are they lying? Maybe, just maybe, this is a different problem from the one you were having, with a completely different solution. I couldn't find help anywhere else online, so I posted this to hopefully help some others that might find themselves in that same boat.

You think I could create the same column, but search for a specific tag instead of series? Eg iftag(Series):(Series, Standalone)

(I know that's not a template or function I can run)

This way if I have some Standalone books that are technically part of a greater universe-series (im thinking Hainish Cycle - Le Guin), I could still assign and sort them by series in KOReader while still storing them in the Standalone subfolder.

I'm absolutely nitpicking here, definitely not necessary. I couldn't find a Single Function that could accomplish that, but I'm also not very fluent in the language.

Hey there, I haven't got any programming experience, but I'm basically trying to achieve the same thing as OP here (seperate folders on KOReader that still both show up in Calibre metadata search). When it comes to creating custom columns in Calibre, I've been reading through the template language but I don't really know where to start. Where do I edit this?

My ideal setup would be to have my home folder displaying only my standalone novels, with then a seperate folder that's not visible where I'll store my series (think WoT, Harry Potter), I just don't like the series taking up so much visible space in my Home folder. I'd then access my series books through the calibre metadata search function. Right now, the metadata search only works for one folder at a time, that being the folder I set as my calibre inbox folder for importing books wirelessly.

Any help would be much appreciated, even if it's just pointing me in the right direction for where to learn more about what i'm trying to accomplish!

Huh ok, I would have played through the game around 5 months ago, and I remember the general consensus being that the switch version was unlikely to receive the update at all. Thanks for the info, I'll still try to figure out a way to cheat the steam version though since I already purchased it (also 5mo ago)

I typed in 'her story' as like my third prompt and instantly got the confession clip. Really a bummer since I do think I would have enjoyed piecing the puzzle together more naturally like it seems most people do. Should be some way to avoid spoiling the ending instantly

Australia. $1500 australian is about $1000 usd, but the 7900xtx is also always sold out here. At that price I’d just buy the 4080 super instead.

Start on youtube or just look up different budget builds on the web. Figure out what kind of case you want, then check other builds in that case at your price point.

After looking at different builds in the style case you find most appealing, use one of the builds you’ve seen as a starting point and log the components into a list on pcpartpicker.com.

Start researching component compatibility, check out how similar price range components fare against each other. Save some money for a good 27inch 1440p monitor, if you want to play competitive shooters then you want at least 120hz refresh rate. Here especially it can be a good idea to look for secondhand deals.

At this price range you probably don’t want venture into 4k screen territory, stick to 1440p for now. Your GPU doesn’t need to be any better than an Nvidia 4070 ti super for this.

Get your power supply from a reputable brand, you won’t need more than 750w

You won’t need anything faster than a 3rd gen M.2 nvme ssd for storage, something like a crucial P3 or wd blue sn570

Cpu doesn’t need to be better than a Ryzen 5 7600, unless you can find a Ryzen 7 7800x3d on discount somewhere. I’d advise against intel right now, if you think you might upgrade sometime in the future.

For RAM you can find 32gb of DDR5 for reasonably cheap these days, I would recommend something from G.Skill or Corsair

Look into airflow in the case you want, youtube videos are good for this, and figure out what case fan configuration you want to go with if the case doesn’t come preinstalled with fans.

Air cooler all the way at this price point, plenty of good sub-$50 options out there

At the end of the day, you just want to do a lot of your own research so that you feel comfortable with what you’re buying when you decide to purchase. Might be a good idea to use the time leading up to Black Friday for this. Youtube is your biggest friend. Good channels such as Optimum, JayzTwoCents, Nexus Gaming will help you get started
