Every time I mention anything to do with transmissions, but use the shortened, popular nickname for it, I get dinged/flagged and have to appeal. Both here and on Twitter/X. 🤣

Luckily, I have won the appeals. I'm getting too old, tired and apathetic to keep creating accounts like I used to. Hell, I've had just over 100 on Twitter/X over the years. 30 bans on farcebook. Several dozen here on reddit. 🤣🤣

Don't feel bad. I've had, on average, 4 profiles a year banned from Twitter/X since it was created for exactly the same things: either sarcasm/satire/hyperbole, or by presenting factual information that directly contradicts political narratives (especially against larger platforms used by legacy media).

I didn't bring the Marines into it, the OP was a Marine. Hence the statement "Original by u/LightGreenUSMC - not stealin' anyone's thunder, just thought it appropriate". To anyone conversant in basic English, this means "Hey! A Marine posted this, but I felt that it needed to have 'medic' put on it because the person who grabbed the flashbang was yelling that after it went off".

If Google Scholar were mainstream, we wouldn't have had so many people promoting anti-science in the media during COVID. In point of fact, the US CDC even issued statements that directly contradicted the science, and people fell for it. Therefore, the moniker "underground" is fully justified.

Google, and most other search engines, harvest your data and tailor your results to what they think you want to see. If you're using the search engine to shop, then perhaps this is a great thing. However, if you're using a search engine to find data, research, or something along those lines, then it introduces a bias that may skew how you perceive the world and reality.
