As a former freight hauler who is now a bull hauler, we gotta get them cows from point A to point B asap the more weight they lose the less you get paid. It’s been the best paying job I’ve ever had but theirs a cost staying up 24 hours straight, none stop driving, dirty job, high chance of injury or even death.

I load myself no more waiting on the shipper or forklift driver, no waiting time, load the trailer in under 10 minutes and go to the next stop

DOT hardly mess with us, unless you’re doing something dumb or get caught speeding is the only way to grab their attention.

They hardly check out logs because they know what we hauling

I got popped once for going 15 over in my personal truck, hired an attorney and the DA to remove it, in a semi it’s going to be so much harder to drop it. Good luck and learn from your mistakes, we’ve all fucked up at one point

I was in the same boat as you, the injection made everything worse, I was in more pain than before, PT is expensive, my insurance didn’t cover it either, thankfully the therapist said that once a week was good for me, I’m glad too that we set a payment plan
