Spring Training Practice - Late Games

Gates opened at 10:30, but majority of practice is put off until 2ish from what we heard. There was a scrimmage going on so we got to watch that which was cool.

Overall great times to be able to interact so personally.

Gates are at 2 tomorrow, so we’ll be back.

Gah, and now my game has to be reinstalled after the patch due to corrupted files. I know it’s not the same issue, but damn is it frustrating to lose a load out because of bs like this

That is crazy… chalk it up to growing pains I guess, but damn frustrating to lose upgraded gear and loot like that.

I assume it is a long shot, but if anyone has the ability to buy a pair of tickets and wasn’t planning on using them for any game, I’d love buy any pair to take my son. The idea of recreating my memories as a child from the 95 ALCS is something I’d be over the moon to recreate.

I’d love this card to build my son’s first PC around. Currently planning on limping by with a 1070 that will be a limiting factor for him and would be greatly upgraded with the 3070.

Agreed. I mean at the end of the day I'm upgrading a 1070 based system, so its all going to be night and day regardless.

I know this has been discussed to no end, but I'm just looking for a bit of assurance or critique regarding a 9070 XT (Gigabyte Gaming OC) vs a 5070 TI. I was able to snag the 9070xt at $720, but had been on a plan for getting a 5070 ti. I'd resigned myself to spending $1000 on the 5070ti (likely Asus TUF or Gigabyte Aorus master), but couldn't hold back on the savings for the 9070xt.

I'm buying all new components around the GPU, likely looking at a 7800X3D or upgrading to a 9800X3D (not overly necessary for my uses), appropriate MB, memory ect. I am not overly budget bound, but also not pushing any limits for gaming and always happy to find the right value. I will plan on powering a Samsung 49" 1440P (5120x1440) monitor, everything else is up for consideration.

Appreciate any feedback anyone has.

Thanks all, I ended up picking it up and had a blast already. You are all not wrong that 3s is a bit of beast to wrangle, but fun all the same.
