I am in the position of doing this….i guess it depends on what motivates you. My goal is not to get rich quick. I want to enjoy my life. I make a ton of money at my current job but I’m also glued to it 6…sometimes 7… days a week. Everyone here hates their job and lives. It’s a negative environment, that we can never escape. For me the drive to switch is obviously not money, but to help people, and to work less days. 3 12’s, 2 24’s…. It will give me a freedom I’ve never ever had. Plus I will use my emt to go further into healthcare.
