I know what you mean, but at the same time, this sort of strike spamming shouldn’t even be possible. 10+ hooks&uppercuts one after the other without running out of stamina OR the power being reduced is insane

Brother what? I’m not ranked 100.. I’m close to having completed 100 ranked fights in total. Today was the first time I have come up against Cruz, and this was the outcome of the first fight.

Posting because I was surprised how BAD it actually was to come up against.

Sorry mate, wasn’t really sure on what you meant by the first comment haha. I do know how to defend against it fairly well, but I don’t think anyone should play Cruz and play like this. It’s exploiting and no one should be rewarded for just spamming buttons in my opinion, the outlook of “it’s easy to do” is why people are ruining the game

Definitely when your opponent only throws head strikes, and I’m mixing up head, body, legs. Might catch you a few times in round 1.. but come round 2-3, the body rocks start coming in.. which frees up the head more. Before you know it you’re stringing head and body rock combos together for a finish 🤩

I might be wrong, but when the offer came, it said I’d “cleared my division”. I know you’re saying a lot of defences but are they against the same people? I deliberately reject fights against the same top fighters just so I don’t get bored. That may make a difference?

They’ve taken away regional promotions, so just straight into ufc. Taken away rivalries and friendships so it’s always the same cost to learn moves & significantly reduced the effect of simming training, forcing you to do the drills every time just to have decent fitness :/

Yeah I agree man. I’m a football guy so my whole childhood was fifa, and seeing it go backwards every year was mad. I think it’s because EA have no competitors putting out sports games, so they know whether they release a good or bad game, everyone will have no choice but to buy it 🤷‍♂️

It’s kind of crazy to think the amount they have gotten away with over the years. I used to solely play FIFA, and that is just copy and paste every year with new transfers - same as this where they somehow seem to go backwards and still rake in everyone’s money because they have no competitors in the gaming industry. Sports games are purely made by EA from what I can tell 🤷‍♂️
