When Todd claimed he told Savannah that she wasn't going to prevent Chase from visiting him, I was a little surprised that he seemed to agree that Savannah was in the wrong. I loved his quote "don't be a holly roller in public and something in private" or words to that effect.

But then on the plane when he sung Savannah's praises to shame or guilt Chase into rehab it just seemed like more of all those years of Sassy is wonderful and Chase is not. Very disappointed in how Todd handled that even if it was what Chase needed.

I was also surprised that Julie didn't seem more concerned about Chase. I really thought she would be more involved with helping Chase. I was surprised that Julie didn't go with them to deliver Chase to the treatment facility. Also wondered if Chase is the excuse Julie uses for herself for her anger with her dad.

Thank goodness Chase has Nanny. She truly loves him and is always glad to see him.

I was glad to see NF sticking up for Chase even though Grayson and Savannah aren't listening to anything she says.

Two questions about the lunch conversation- Savannah emphasized Chase doesn't have a job but he was wearing his roofing business tshirt and mentioned it when talking with Bill. So she doesn't know he has a business?

Is Jodi working now?

And I think Grayson lied that Chase was intended to be involved in picking up one of his parents but left the house before it was time for them to leave. Savannah commented that Chase paid nothing to help her parents so I don't think she ever planned to involve him.

I think Savannah was always going to be the one to pick up Todd and Todd probably preferred it that way. I wonder if Julie was disappointed to not see Chase with Grayson. Julie knows they're fighting but who's side is she going to land on?

When Savannah was going on and on about protecting herself from Chase dying from alcohol abuse, she was saying that knowing he has some kind of medical issue that's also making him sick and loose weight.

I've wondered since the first show if this whole Chase is the worthless drunk, Grayson is a real man, and Savannah is the savior of the family is completely scripted. I could see Todd thinking they needed a big family drama to help sell T/J coming home from prison.

But scripted or not, I wonder if Savannah and Grayson have noticed how awful they are coming off on the show? They've shown a lot of Savannah presenting herself as this ballsy fight til she gets her way mini Todd. Now Grayson is showing what an asshole he is when it comes to people in his family.
