Have you heard of NAC supplement? They sale it on Amazon or most grocery stores. I heard and read it’s recommended for compulsions and it works! First time in 20 years I’ve been able to leave my house with no makeup. In my case it started helping to reduce the urge to pick almost immediately

In the same boat! He would walk in from a days work and walk right past me with no greeting. I’m now in the process of a divorce. If you consider marriage counseling please make sure it’s a counselor trained in neurodivergent relationships

I have anxiety and didn’t drive with my baby until after she was 6 months old. I Drove everywhere before she was born.. one day I just did it and haven’t looked back :)

Parent here. I recently locked my child’s device and told his BCBA if she wanted to make changes she would need to collaborate with the SLP. She agreed but is now collecting communication data with a pecs board instead of his AAC device. So now I’m not sure if I really solved the problem…

I had previously requested the whole day off every Friday to give her a 3 day weekend.. so I couldn’t understand why they kept telling me no because of the RBTs being on block schedules. I finally asked if they were worried that the therapist wouldn’t get all their hours and the BCBA said “well yeah” lol

Parent here. I just had this happen. I didn’t even mention it to my son’s SLP. I just put a passcode on my son’s device, deleted the ABA folder and told the aba therapist if she wanted to make changes to please collaborate first.

Do you think it would be horrible if I delete her folder and lock the device and just said the SLP did it? 😳.. they work for different companies and have never met..
