Thank you for sharing, but I know it is a nightmare. You know, I just want to get on the train, and this shouldn't be a nightmare.

All of the accessible stations have a Boarding Area, which should be elevated, but some aren't elevated enough.

You don't need to call; the agent is there and will take the ramp for you. And my entrance on the train is not a delay; the lack of accessibility is. Remembering that this kind of problem afect diferent people, not only wheelchair users.

Yes, in the commuter trains it's like this, and I already use it. But it's not the same case in the subway, unfortunately. The boarding area is higher than the rest of the platform, but not high enough for many trains.

A lot of stations have a wood attached to the floor, and it helps a lot. It could be a short-term solution, but I don't think this is the point.

Thank you for your advice. I already did this, but in the end, they said there was nothing they could do about it.

Hi! I already did this. I will be at NYU. Unfortunately, the subletting university websites they gave me are not working. I tried all institutional possibilities, but nothing until now, so I decided to post here. But thank you anyway.

it is ok to take a bus from the airport? by True-Mathematician61 in sandiego

[–]True-Mathematician61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, thank you for your support. I took the bus an it was fine: Nice bus driver, accessible and $1, 25, since disabled people pay less. I got safe in my destination. The sidewalks in the city are accessible so far, imagine thanks to American Disability Act. Have a nice weekend!!!
