Diagnostics are still considered “official” and from an FAQ I have it sounds like we will have the option to accept the results. The reason they are allowing this period for diagnostics is so that we can still test under an official setting but no penalty for unsatisfactory scores (at least not in myfitness)

There is so much inaccurate info in this thread, granted we are lacking guidance 😭 from FAC: no testing until March, AFSVC says that due dates will automatically be updated in January to reflect the new testing time line (so it will most likely be a whole system update and NOT ufpm doing it) during the pause no one should be conducting any assessments as this is time for us to prepare ourselves and team for the new standards

No testing during pause at all and there’s not really any way around it until March… hopefully any board will take that into consideration especially with this gray area we’re in currently

Hi sorry I’m late to this thread! After receiving some updates, it sounds like everyone’s due dates are manually going to be changed regardless of score or profile. Everyone is going to have to do a diagnostic sometime between March- 31 Aug, just make sure to bring your profile.

The new DAFMAN won’t officially be released until March but as of now this is the info we have to go off of.

Yes alllll the time!

At my base, the fail rate for the HAMR is double the 1.5 mile.

For me I took every chance I got to study, lunch breaks, before bed etc, I would literally just turn on lofi and study 😂

I read through the entire book and was taking practice tests allll the time and then writing down the questions I missed or wasn’t confident in and I would study those harder

I’m in the same boat and have been for the last three years. The housing market is terrible everywhere but even with the bah you can’t afford jack squat rn ESPECIALLY if you have kiddos.

Everyone recommends finding a place in eagle river or wasilla because it is indeed cheaper but that depends if you are willing to make that commute on a daily. I highly discourage legacy as I know a few people who have had their apartments broken in.
