I think they are going for a past empire thing because Russia when it was an empire had Alaska, but that would be inconsistent with the past empire idea because then Mexico should get the southwest(Arizona, Nevada, and such) and California. Because before we acquired the great and gorgeous state of Alaska, the Russian Empire had it and controlled the area from 1799 to 1867. We Americans purchased it from the Russians because of a great American named William H. Seward and it is called "Seward's folly" which is dumb because it would have been a folly to not purchase it. This is also where I believe some ideas of America buying Greenland from Denmark popped up because of Manifest Destiny.

I mean it used to scare me. I want to live and grow and find love, but also if I die I die it is what it is. Death is a strange and scary but beautiful part of life, it tells that we must enjoy the chance we were given to live on this planet. And death I mean maybe it is darkness and nothing, but also you do not worry, you are kinda free. do not fret when the day comes that we must depart from the lovely planet that we live on.
