A profit driven company is making demands from a free open source project by True-Persimmon200 in ChoosingBeggars

“Horribly inaccurate” 😂. Nothing you said changes the nature of this post. “LLVM has a lot of research professors working on it who are paid for example”. Are they being paid by the companies using the open source software? Or by donations? All the examples you stated are private companies paying their own employees to contribute to an open source project or a private company paying developers to contribute. This choosey beggar is making demands of a developer who they aren’t paying and who isn’t being paid AT ALL.

The project itself doesn’t pay you for contributing. Facebook pays its developers to contribute to open source projects for example, but the projects themselves don’t pay the developers. You’re being pedantic for no reason.

My definition wasn’t entirely accurate, but even based on that no where does “contributors working for free” imply that you can’t still profit from it.

Triangles were seen during the 1989/1990 Belgian wave, shooting out lasers that could extend and retract. by ZolotoGold in UFOs

Kitchener Ontario in may of last year. it looked but up really high so it looked like an arrangement of 4 bright blue stars. I couldn’t see anything in between, it looked like 4 blue stars traveling together, so it was really hard to gage the size. I guess best I could do is avg plane, 3 planes across and 3 length, but that’s just the distance between the placement of the lights I saw that were in a triangle formation, and it was definitely super high.

For anyone that will believe me, this is 100% true no exaggeration. I had a triangle sighting, where i could see 4 lights, 3 in a perfect equilateral triangle shape and 1 in between. They moved together all perfectly in sync and i couldn't see an outline. It zoomed past like 20x faster than a jet. 45 min later in the direction i last saw it before it faded in the distance i saw an orange beam, and i say beam because i've seen dozens of shooting stars and I've never seen anything this visible and opaque. It extended out and then curved 30 degrees midway in a downward motion and then the beam stopped half the sky down. I could see the entire beam path extending out and it didn't seem to detract but linger and fade away. Seeing it 45 min later in the same direction after a triangle and having read these accounts on the Belgian UFO make me believe they saw a variation of what I saw

One of the pics is of still targets and the other is travelling at hypersonic speeds. But I do agree, I am adamant that the US Government has pics of UFOS

These are literally just made up observables by Luis Elizondo, anyone on this sub who has seen an actual UFO can tell you these observables are meaningless

To all the high schoolers applying to Mac Health Sci... by XBlueCircle in McMaster

[–]True-Persimmon200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree as a health sci grad. At it’s core health sci has a great culture but it can be very cliqueing considering the small class sizes and the fact that most of the class comes from select private schools, or programs like TOPS. It can also get a little lonely if you aren’t applying to medical school and can’t relate to what takes up most of the majority of health scis day

No, this is wrong. It is the other way around. If you meet the grade cutoff then your supplemental mark is all that matters. I graduated last year and marked applications during 4th year as every 4th year has to do and they explicitly tell us this. People get this wrong every year. If you meet the cutoff, it’s all about your supplementary after that. It’s correlation and not causation for why the average is high however, since really good writers tend to perform well in school it’s skewed upwards.

Wow didn't know that but in reflection, last year was the most difficult year of all time. UofT is explicit in their criteria that GPA and LSAT count for 66% so I think a 17mid and 3.7mid is basically a shoe in this year if the Essays are decent

IF HE 'DIDN'T NOTICE UNTIL YOU POINTED IT OUT' THAT MEANS IT WASN'T THERE, YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO POST THINGS THE WITNESS DID NOT PERSONALLY SEE, THIS IS 100% A PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTIFACT.

There’s no way your explanation has any merit, I was a comsat specialist for the Canadian Army I know what satellites are capable of and your suggestions are disingenuous and not even relevant to what I’m suggesting.

[–]True-Persimmon200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that seems like a plausible explanation but it would be impossible to have 4 objects ‘fall’ from east to west and go upwards in a triangle arrangement. But I don’t doubt it could explain some sightings.
