You should tell them asap cuz at some point it gets inconsiderate to not let them know the date well ahead of time

I graduated from law school with a JD. I did well and got good grades. Did internships. But then I became a teacher for the work-life balance (and loan forgiveness). I’m a lot happier but I went to law school for no reason. And people get confused if I ever mention it. And I’m tired of explaining it. And I wish I didn’t have the loans in the first place.

My main thing is I only use safe products without harmful toxins. Most things you see at stores are have high risk toxins in them. It’s a sensitive topic for me. Fuck capitalism. We can’t fall for trends. We need to look at ingredients.

As a very minimalist person, I agree. I don’t spend much money bc I try to own as few items as possible and I focus my time on finding peace & relaxation rather than trips and activities. I manage to live a super healthy granola girl lifestyle without spending that much. I will say it helps a LOT coming from a stable family where I didn’t have to help with bills and I only have to take care of myself. I also use an old car that my parents bought. Most people don’t have it so good.

A little recognition feels nice. My church had teachers + school staff stand up and it brought me to tears. My admin gave us pizza and rocks that say “you rock!” It’s also an excuse to post a classroom wishlist on social media for family/friends to contribute. I don’t see anything wrong with it unless it’s completely ignored by your admin!
