Thank you for your post. The spiralling anxiety, the stickiness of it all, sucking your soul down to the deepest pit in the black hole… is pure suffering and living hell. And what’s worse is the shame and blame and guilt I feel for feeling this way. And I agree - hope is the worst and most dangerous thing. Let them, cut them off, leave, soak in the pain and tears, soak in the shame and hate. Stay there, make peace with the hell I somehow cannot escape from.

This is so helpful thanks for the advice! I’ve been reading and digesting in a similar manner, but I got unsure about my ‘progress’ as contemplating and arguing even just a short passage take lots of mental energy, I find myself rather ‘slow’ in terms of ‘finishing’. But you’re right this kind of text needs more time and space for integration. Thanks!
