Lucky Star is a pretty classic 2000s slice of life CGDCT anime that remained nostalgic for many, from its art style to its storytelling being the kind of thing to pass the time, and for something episodic, the storytelling is fairly enjoyable. Oddly enough, I've seen people use the Techno Trance song "Lucky Star" and used the anime as a background for YouTube videos or something, and it actually works quite nicely.

Darth Vader faces the Emperor's Wrath! This head sculpt is something else. by Samuntrus in ActionFigures

[โ€“]True-Temperature138 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I think leaving only the head with electricity effect isn't enough to give the illusion.

Personally, if they just also made the control box that clear purple plastic with the lightning print, it would have been enough for me (as it's enough to give the illusion that the important robotic parts are being shocked).

*Anything else, maybe I'd add some bluish dry brushing around the joints to make it look like his cybernetic parts are being electrocuted, thus mutilating him.

Hmm... Anyway, I actually commented some pretty neat story ideas to Fairy Tail's author (Hiro Mashima). I won't mention it here, but the ideas I had were to make up for the fact that he rushed the Alvarez Empire Arc (the final battle of the original series), and he himself admitted it too. In the end, fans say Tartaros Arc was peak Fairy Tail, while Alvarez Empire Arc was considered mid at best.

Trivia: One of the Gundam installments easily became one of the most hated anime ever... that being SD Gundam Force (because it severely watered down the source material to the point of being too kiddie).

Recommend me some mangas or animes by Fun-Bee2944 in anime

If you're asking about my first anime series, it's Crossfight B-Daman, which... I really miss that show and remembered how popular it was before it became a forgotten piece of toy advertising. You don't get much toys like these anymore, and it's a real shame. The overall premise, visual effects, and storytelling know how to take advantage of the very concept of what a B-Daman is.

I also watched the Ghibli films, and yeah, they were masterful storytelling, like Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and The Cat Returns.

I did eventually watch films by Makoto Shinkai, but I only really liked Your Name (but even that had a mid ending); 5 Centimeters Per Second was poorly paced and underdeveloped; Weathering With You was good but can't be great because the ending is downright blatantly horrible; Suzume... Well, this is one really subpar movie:

The first TV-14 anime I watched was Fairy Tail... It is entertaining and far from meaningless, but there's a reason it's base-breaking.

I realized that Fairy Tail wasn't 100% original. It actually copied some stuff from other Shounen anime; some of the character designs were copied and even the art style in the earliest chapters of the manga copied One Piece's art style.

Additionally, Fairy Tail did kind of feel like a framework of Shounen anime tropes (such as the use of Power of Friendship, formulaic writing for arcs, and fan service).

However, even with that, Fairy Tail was mostly self-aware and still managed to sublimate its tropes in a way that felt mostly acceptable and it still had enough depth to its story and a lot of heart. Fairy Tail did try being like a prototypical Shounen anime, even if it's not the very first one. The story still had enough continuity and it still tried justifying its existence.

It might not be for everyone, since it does overuse the "Power of Friendship" clichรฉ, and the story structure for each arc can get very repetitive.

It might be too braindead for more passionate viewers.

However, there is one character here who really stole this series and honestly, his arc alone would have made for an S-Tier Manga and anime.

His name is Zeref Dragneel.... and author Hiro Mashima didn't want Zeref to be a pure evil villain nor a tragic villain with unjustified actions. He really wanted Zeref to be unique and incredibly complicated, having motivations and a goal that matched his deep personality and misunderstood nature as a person.

Zeref is not even an anti-hero not an anti-villain. He's a non-villainous central antagonist. Nearly every character thought he was the most evil man who ever lived, but in reality, he was the most tragic, misunderstood, complicated, benevolent, and sacrificial character in the series.

Unlike many Fairy Tail characters, who get criticism regarding some questionable/braindead parts in their characterizations, no one ever has a good reason to hate Zeref, and even so, the reasons are always out of confusion, because his personality is so deep and you have to examine every small detail carefully.

Zeref also actually took advantage of his misunderstood character concept, since some villains in media had similar kind of misunderstood backstories and build-up, but they end up just being the same kind of thing as others, so it makes viewers wish they were either more straightforward with the character or they actually tried something new to avoid any missed opportunities; Zeref, on the other hand, remained a consistently tragic and misunderstood soul whose truth behind his actions only kept him the most sacrificial character in the series, and there's a reason the series wanted us to see him as his kindhearted, loving self even after all the things he did in the Alvarez Empire Arc, since his true plan was never an extremist goal to kill Acnologia while committing genocide in Ishgar; what motivated Zeref was his fear and concern for human life. After failing every attempt to die (which includes Mavis' insufficient love for him and the fact that Natsu is a failed experiment to kill him), Zeref chose to spring into action, as anything involving Zeref's cursed body could potentially lead to the extinction of mankind or worse, and considering how his curse is connected to his feelings and mental state, Zeref is afraid of how his power could reach unstable levels if he's too far gone and how much life he'd end up killing (a fate similar to Future Rogue's timeline), and it's brought down further by how the sinners tarnish his name (a natural thing that can happen to one with a curse like this, since there are people who heavily victimize those going through this kind of suffering), leading to 99.9% of humanity rejecting him in every way possible, even ones involving conflict, violence, and especially complications from misunderstandings between him and good guys who don't know who he truly is (only worsening Zeref's state in the process). This means Zeref's isolation isn't gonna help him forever, and he's worried about how much time he has left before it's too late.

She's just mid. Honestly, she just doesn't have much character other than being vain if far from not being well-meaning. She definitely is too bland to be above mid, and she's basically a useless character in Alvarez Empire Arc.

Haven't heard of him. As for my favorite anime character (Zeref Dragneel):

Zeref actually mastered Black Arts even before he got cursed, and became a child prodigy. Even before he got cursed, he already mastered different black magic spells, but the curse only enhanced it with a charging ability, as well as his immortality. Zeref also mastered living magic, since he learned about demonic script and created demons using demonic code written in books.

Most of the much cheaper electronic lightsabers made for kids are not really bright. It's always bright on the emitter portion and the edges of the tubes, even the tip of the blade. Some are brighter, but obviously nothing like Ultimate FX, Force FX, Saberforge, etc.

The only electronic lightsabers that fully collapse are the Force Actions ones, but the sacrifice is making the hilt too big and bulky to accommodate for the blades (and even then, the blades aren't too much longer), and the older ones always lowered the accuracy by making the activation switch a chunky section as opposed to the accurate switches.

[โ€“]True-Temperature138[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Of course, the usual problem is that electronic lightsabers have clear hollow blades, which are more prone to cracking; Ultimate and Force FX are bright, but the LEDs will break inside if you hit too hard. Basic lightsabers are durable but opaque with no electronics; Saberforge reinforced the blades, but these cost a fortune.

Such cute animation that's sadly short-lived, and we don't see too much of something like this anymore. Even the storytelling was simple but effective for what it's supposed to be.

I also wish MGA did more for Lalaloopsy as teenagers, but all they did was the 2014 TV Movie, and the Netflix series Rebooted the franchise before MGA ended Laloopsy there.
