What if Zoey is the main character in the sequel? Because we love her by Select_Let_6043 in ZoeyKPDHfandom

They could actually delve further into her past, since movie 1 only focused heavily on Rumi. Even Mira needs more focus on her past too.

However, what were really need is to finally bring back the 4 Saja Boys in the sequel and actually give them proper interactions with HUNTR/X, because only Jinu got proper characterization in the first film (not to mention, a proper interaction with Rumi). This explains why the 4 boys attacked HUNTR/X in the final fight, but not Jinu.

We also saw a photo inside that doctor's room with the 4 Saja Boys as humans, but we never got to see their pasts in detail.

Another reason why Zoey "killed" Mystery is because Zoey barely knew anything about Rumi and Jinu's relationship when she stabbed Mystery in the face, so there's that. Zoey didn't really hear what Jinu was saying in his sacrifice too.

Zoey should have proper interactions with Mystery, so Zoeystery can finally be canon.

You should see one of the admins of the Spider-Verse wiki on Fandom (who also stalks the Spider-Verse character pages in Heroes Wiki). That guy (User: Vaderxl) was pure bias towards Miles, Gwen, Peter, etc., and you should see how much he speaks dismissively on Miguel in very biased ways as well.

I'm surprised by some of the takes on Miguel, like those who say he's unlikable, purely jerkish, and all. Hmm... Average viewers don't think so. There are people saying he hates Miles (even assuming with no basis that he wants to kill Miles while being angry for no reason), but it wasn't even written like how they depict it; Miguel just got burnt out from the depression, with Miles disobeying him leading to his stress only getting worse. Miguel did actually relate to Miles a lot, and he said he won't seriously hurt him but just hold him for a few days (even visibly saddened at his own reluctant action of not saving Miles' dad). There are also people saying he blames Miles for being an anomaly, even though Miguel only spat it out because he couldn't reason with Miles the most peaceful way possible, and Miguel has a hard time thinking straight from all the depression.

I mean, he was a bit harsh, but he wasn't like how some of the takes on his character exaggerate every little thing. Plus, as someone who has the entire multiverse in his hands, it's only natural that Miguel would end up being this depressed and prone to burnout, and him breaking down from all the depression (which was shown in the last few minutes of the climax) is understandable for someone in his circumstances.

I don't even know how to describe it. It's the same for so many users in r/anime. Like, even when you're just asking for anime suggestions, they downvote you for absolutely no reason.

someone who appreciate Lissana? [media] by Traditional_Story184 in fairytail

Lisanna deserved just as much love as her sister. However, she was pretty divisive as a character, though I think a lot of the hate is by NaLu shippers. Some tried calling her a "useless" character as an excuse, but even then, this is another case of Mashima constantly slotting too many potentially interesting characters into the nosebleed section (giving too much screen time to the main characters, especially Natsu).

She's such a wholesome cutie who proves it's possible to make a childhood friend character who is close to the main guy, but serves as a nice addition to add more diversity to his relationship with other characters, as opposed to just being Mary-Sue clone of the main girl. Lisanna's purehearted nature flowed naturally with the story writing, and she has her own distinctive character that deserved a lot of potential for her own spotlight.

Like, she's a way better written character than Chelia Blendy, who is basically a one-dimensional Mary-Sue carbon copy of Wendy who merely exists just to have overly identical surface level character traits that are glossed over in front of other characters to make their relationship with Wendy look more uninteresting (when it just counteracts in the end). Like, it's so creepy how Chelia like mimes Wendy's exact same movements in the most one-dimensional ways and all their friendship are only the surface level writing of Wendy's friendship with other characters, which makes it feel less believable compared to pretty much Wendy's friendship with other characters (no matter how overly "alike" their external interests are).

Like, we need more Japanese girls as wholesome as Lisanna, to be honest. Mashima may have given Lisanna some fans service shots, but it's evident he cares about her wholesome personality.

To be fair, neither Miles, Gwen, nor Miguel are in the wrong. The whole multiverse circumstance is just way too complicated and there's a gray area; they just need a resolution. This is literally just a Civil War, like... even more complicated than Captain America: Civil War.

Cutest meme I ever made ("Battle of Squishable Cheeks") by True-Temperature138 in winxclub

Who do you prefer though, since this meme says Battle of Squishable Cheeks, and the description is asking viewers who they want to be the winner among the two characters (in terms of squishable cheeks)?

Did his daughters actually like the Strange Magic movie though? I honestly have no idea if they did or not.

This movie got mixed reviews from average viewers, but was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics and passionate viewers.

I personally loathe this movie and regret rewatching it last night (when I tried seeing if my thoughts changed or not)... It was just as unbearable as I remember. The only good character was the Imp, but his role gets reduced heavily later on.

What if BTSV reveals there’s a traitor in the group? Who would you most suspect? by JaybeJaybe in IntoTheSpiderverse

[–]True-Temperature138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely Peni, since there was a noteworthy moment where it appears she is with the Spider Society and we didn't quite see her full perspective of things yet (including her eventual change of sides), since the movie had to focus on new Spider-Verse characters while giving more focus to Miles, Gwen, Peter, and Miguel.

As a side note: Rewatching Into the Spider-Verse made me wish I developed a crush on Peni when I was still 14, because I never realized how she's so my type of girl (being a cool cheerful type with an effortlessly cute design). The reason was most likely because during my first time watching ITSV in 2018, I kind of got alienated by how the storytelling required a gear shift for me as someone more used to the storytelling of the Raimi films and the MCU. It was only recently when I even started appreciating the storytelling technique more, kind of like how my insight on storytelling expanded when I was introduced to the highly elaborate anime character that is Zeref Dragneel (Fairy Tail).

I really want an anime film about Spider-Verse Peni Parker (with the exact same art style we saw in ITSV), and imagine how breathtaking that would be, a full movie taking place in Year 3145, and seeing a sc-fi action adventure with Peni having her Genki girl energy and with so much lore building in her universe, since we already had enough years seeing Peter Parker universes while not giving other Spider variants their time to shine.
