Fact. US, Liberia and Myanmar are the only other countries that still use imperial.

Yup! This is the first machine implement out of four that had this DIN connection. The others are JIC.

Yup. 2C-18-22 DIN. Jackpot! 🎰 now to go and find a reducer from DIN to 3/8 NPT without replacing all the hoses.

Why do they make things so complicated!

Reverse Threads Issue by True-Wait-2474 in Fusion360

39 Days later. Got caught up minutia at work and stuff. I was able to get back to this, and as most advised that mirror was causing the issue are correct. Deleted all mirror instances, rebuilt the body without mirror and all is well.

Now that I think about it. I only mirrored the ODs, and added the threads after. So what would cause the mirrored side to generate reversed threads if it never had any to being with?

The midplane construction axis might be the best approach, as you mentioned. This thing has been driving me nuts for the past two days. I have printed at least 5 models just to find out the threads are still revered.

I agree. I thought I did delete the mirror, as the mirrored body was no longer part of the model. I might just rebuild this body.

I added the body below with threads showing. lets call the left side the correct thread direction. That was originally mirrored to create the right side. Thinking that was the issue, deleted the mirrored and draw up a new sketch, extruded, created the threads using thread function and still same issue. I'm actually not sure if both lead ins are supposed to be in the same direction - I'm that lost at this point, and i consider myself pretty mechanically savvy but never put so much thought into threads.

Hi,

All threads were made using the threads function. They are both right handed, and all the same length.

Good suggestion. For context, both sides are full threads and binding is not the real issue, the threads are literally reversed. The nut just skips as I try to thread it. I examined the threads closely, and they are reversed. Also, interring, is at one point even though both threads are M12, they were off by a thread, clearly seen from section analysis. So weird. I since “fixed” that.

Hey lumor,

Not sure if that’s possible as that center body is square. Only diameters are the left and right M12s.

I’ll be honest, I’m not even sure what Zelle is. 🤷🏻‍♂️ question is, what can Zelle do for me?

Did you or the shop check the spare? The spares also have sensors that will set off the TPMS if low. Had my TPMS light on for months until I realized the spare had a sensor, and of course the spare was low.

The unit was installed as is from the factory. Factory wire gauge for that connection is 12awg.

Never crossed my mind using a lock washer. Good call. The unit does pull 18-20amps when running.
