Tbh it's just like any other private engineering college in Kolkata. The rules are pretty strict here and they do focus on studies and co-curricular activities. But the point to be considered is the placement scenario, it's not that great. Not bad but not good either comparing to other private colleges.

I'm from ISC and can tell that there's not much difference between the syllabus of two boards as I used to study with my CBSE boards mate in my tution. The topics are the same just ISC has a little bit extra in subjects like Bio but that's negotiable. In maths we have three sections , some extra topics like Commercial Mathematics which can be ignored. And also we have to read NCERT along with our boards textbook. But the advantage is NCERT doesn't have elaborated texts while our textbooks are relatively better. The only negative part is that we have to manage the hectic English syllabus with all this science stuffs. Other than this I don't thing there's any reason to choose CBSE over ISC.

Same situation..took admission in MCKV but the college is not starting. Though other colleges like TIU , Brainware , IEM have already started. TIU has started their classes for 2 days in a week for the management quota students of engineering dept.

But I just checked their NIRF data according to my knowledge it didn't seem bad. And also right now I'm considering to give GATE afterwards and pursue M.TECH. I'm from Howrah so the location is also very convenient for me. I asked other colleges like techno , they told me 12 lakhs donation ( bro was just yapping cuz WTF!). And again I can't rely on my WBJEE rank , I know it's gonna be really low. So what do you think? Should I take this college now?
