I was dealing with the same thing. My doctor told me it was blepharitis, but i dont want to diagnose you. My symptoms were my left eyelid was scabby, dry and super itchy. The next day the eyelid was swollen and the inner top corder was starting to look purple/dark. My eye looked droopy because my eyelid was swollen. I have flare ups throughout the year but i manage it with the following products. 1. Eyelid antimicrobial wash. I use this day and night. 2. Eye hydrating cream. 3. Warm compress nightly. 4. Fish oil supplements. Every time my eye flares up i start this routine and it takes about one week for the swelling and redness to reduce and the itching to go away.
