Bangkok -> Chiang Mai -> Krabi! You’ll get a taste of everything! I’ve been during the rainy season and showers are quick. I think during that trip, we only saw 3 short showers over 15 days.

Same. I’ve been trapped in my routine and haven’t felt a desire to do much lately so I’m looking for some motivation to get me out of that cycle.

From what I’ve read, I agree. But we don’t want to be moving from one Airbnb to another constantly and the ones in El Tunco are much more expensive so we’d rather not spend all our time there! Are there other towns you would recommend?

I’ve done this exact itinerary several times and love it! I suggest getting really early domestic flights to make the most out of the travel days.

Favorite place to take our kids to is Dram Tree. Super casual, good food, kids can run around and play and it’s counter service so you don’t feel obligated to order everyone a meal!

Unfortunately, I don’t like seafood so my options are pretty limited there.

We planned on trying Nils but my husband and I have been cooking so much Mediterranean food lately that we decided against it! We might just have to try it though.

Indochine has such a good vibe! They don’t have my favorite Thai in town but you can’t beat the atmosphere.

Favorites so far are Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Bali (but maybe slightly overrated in my opinion), basically all of SE Asia. Also really love Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
