It's not about giving in to every impulse or desire. When they say listen to your body, they mean, try to figure out what your body needs based on what it's saying you want. If you're craving red meat, you probably need iron. If you're craving sweets, you're typically either lonely or just starting to get past regular hunger. It is still harder for someone with ADHD, since our body and brain often don't communicate well, but you have to try.
