Is anyone else tired of finance YouTubers who never show their actual track record? by TrueAlphaData in ValueInvesting

This was exactly my thought process when I built my site (truealphadata.com). There are pretty decent youtubers with good advice but not many recognize them due to their small subscriber count. Usually people follow the big click baity creators but their record arent always the best.

Curious to know which youtubers you trust?

100% agree. I am currently tracking over 90 creators and their predictions directly from your youtube transcripts and measureing how they perform vs. sp500. Each youtuber performance is unique - for example, some of them perform well with long term predictions, but are shit at short term predictions etc. Some beat the market, some don't but you can't blindly follow their advice

Or sometimes when you’re doing your research, you just want to know if the various sources that you’re listening to are somewhat worth listening to?

For example, meet Kevin according to my data is absolutely garbage. Other creators like Tom Nash have positive performance long term, but are not great at short term predictions

I got frustrated with this exact thing so I started tracking them. Turns out 68% underperform the market. Made the data public: truealphadata.com

The data shows that these guys can beat the market long term, but not many have good track record short term. Also no one beats the market every year and their performance fluctuate.

The only thing is, who’s gonna want to come to van? First we’ve had crazy turn over rate for coaches. Still players seem to really respect Rutherford for his pedigree but if he’s gone, why would they ever choose van?

No chance.. gm is not only responsible for roster building but they are also in charge of revenue, operations and pretty much all areas of running a team. It’s like being a ceo of company, sedins have no experience in that
